IDT contributes towards the development of Early Childhood Centre’s (ECD) |

The IDT an implementing agency for the EPWP Social sector Programme in partnership with the Department of Social Development donated towards developing Bana ba Thari Early Learning Centre & Sameeng Early Learning Centre at the Greater Taung Local Municipality in North West province.
The Social Sector programme involves establishing and building capacity for Early Childhood Centre’s. In a ceremony held on 3 June 2010, educational material was handed over to the centers by the IDT and the Department of Social Development donated a cheque of R105 000.600 to the crèche.
The handing over ceremony was attended by the Honourable Minister of Social Development, Ms Edna Molewa, and Deputy Minister: Ms Bathabile Dlamini, MEC for Health and Social Development in North-west Ms OR Kasienyane, Acting Head of Social Development, Mr. ML Malaka, Acting Chief Director of Social Services, Mr. O Kabasia, Cllr Letitia Basson & IDT North - West Regional Manager, Ms Tebogo Malaka.
